About Us
My name is Cheryl Ann Hoffarth and I have been providing my clients with the best in pet care professionally since September of 2001. As a bit of a tomboy and major animal lover since I could walk , my family always had several at a time in the house while growing up. Birds, snakes, frogs, lizards, guniea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, mice and rats (yes,rats!), are just a few of the typical house pets that I was fortunate to have and care for. I learned alot about responsibility , how to take care of and love all different kinds of critters.
Not much has changed, except now I have my own family and mini farm with a menagerie of animals that includes dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and horses. I have been involved in horse rescue and also have occasionally taken in dogs that need to find forever homes, which has been very rewarding and successful thus far. My outside activities include being a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and a mentor in the Mentors for Moms program sponsored by the Cornell Coorperative Extension in Voorheesville. I am also a member of the Capital Area Professional Pet Sitters Group which caters to four counties and fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
