About Me
Just a little bit about myself. My name is Cheryl Hoffarth and I have been providing my clients with the best in professional pet care since September of 2001. As a bit of  a tomboy and animal lover since I could walk , my family always had several pets at a time in  the house while growing up. Birds, snakes, frogs, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, mice, and rats (yes, rats!), are just a few of the typical house pets that I was fortunate to have and care for. I learned a lot about responsibility , how to take care of and love all different kinds of critters.

Not much has changed, except now I have my own family and mini farm with a menagerie of animals that includes dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and horses. I am active in horse & dog rescue, primarily in finding homes for orphaned and special needs puppies. We work hard to find them forever homes, which has been very rewarding and successful thus far. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please visit the site www.helporphanpuppies.org.

My outside activities include volunteering in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and as a mentor in the Mentors for Moms program sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Voorheesville. I am also a member of the Capital Area Professional Pet Sitters Group (CAPPS) which serves four counties, a member of the Board of Trustees for Help Orphan Puppies.org, and am fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
